Food For Families

Manna's regular food distribution program feeds approximately 3,300 households each month. Every client is referred to Manna through one of our partnerships with 360 different organizations, including nonprofits, schools, doctors, employee assistance programs, government agencies, and faith-based organizations. Clients may pick up a 3-5 day supply of food every 30 days at one of Manna's distribution locations.

Manna operates several satellite sites throughout the county. By partnering with St. Camillus Church, Catholic Charities, the Salvation Army, Family Services Agency, and the Long Branch, Lincoln Park Community Center, and East County Community Centers, Manna is able to operate satellite sites that make it easier for clients to receive the food they need (Food Distribution Locations & Hours page).

Manna also provides food to several low-income senior citizens and people with disabilities at several low-income apartment complexes across the county each week. These clients are unable to get to one of Manna's sites or unable to physically carry the 70 pounds of food Manna provides. Manna's apartment program ensures that neither a lack of transportation nor physical strength will prevent people from obtaining the food they so urgently need. Manna also provides bread to 19 locations across the county. Every week we deliver bread to the following locations:
