Court-Ordered
Community Service

Manna Food Center will accept volunteers performing court-ordered community service who are over the age of 18. Time slots are available Monday through Friday from 9 am-3 pm. You need to schedule a time slot in advance and cancel if you cannot attend.

Volunteers must wear clothing appropriate for the warehouse. T-shirts, jeans and sneakers are recommended. You must wear shoes or work boots in the warehouse; sandals, flip flops and heels are not permitted. Tank tops are not allowed to be worn in the warehouse.

Volunteers will pack boxes, distribute food, unload trucks, clean, and handle other warehouse duties as assigned. Volunteers should be prepared that these responsibilities require physical activity that may require heavy lifting and moving boxes.

Manna does not accept volunteers who have been convicted of violent crimes, crimes of a sexual nature, or identity theft crimes. All court-ordered volunteers must sign up in advance for each day they wish to volunteer. Volunteers are responsible for signing in at the start and conclusion of each of shift. Manna reserves the right to decline any volunteer or to limit which days or hours a volunteer can work and the right to dismiss a volunteer at any time during their scheduled time.
